Koketso Kenneth Rankoko (stage name: KQue-K), was born in Pretoria, South Africa. He is an underground Deep House DJ and also finds pleasure in exploring sounds from Soulful and Afro House music.
KQue-K is currently studying Interior Design at the Tshwane University of Technology, which also high lights his passion for design (both in interior and clothing). He has always had a good ear for music from a very tender age. He started immersing himself in music, from the 7th Grade. Koketso would listen to old skool deep house and the like back in the day.
KQue-K started of calling himself ‘Kaysoul’. Realising that name Kaysoul was being used by someone else he then started calling himself KQue-K.
KQue-K started marketing himself by using digital platforms such as Podomatic and SoundCloud, just to name a few, and also, sharing his mix’s among his mates. With the little exposure that he has, he has had the opportunity to play at a few lounges such as Mushroom Lounge, Cappello, News Cafe & Urban Lounge.
KQue-K wishes to follow his two passions in life – music and fashion – and make a success of both.
