House music pioneer MK (Marc Kinchen) is heading to Australia for a run of headline shows this April presented by Untitled Group.
As you know MK has a weekly radio show that airs every Monday 2pm – 3pm exclusively on KISS FM in Australia.
MK has redefined house music across decades, amassing over 1 billion global streams and creating anthems that continue to inspire artists and ignite dance floors worldwide. From his iconic early hits like ‘Burning’, ‘Always’, and ‘4You’, to the UK chart-topping rework of ‘Look Right Through’ by Storm Queen, and the multi-platinum singles ‘Pieces Of Me’, ‘17’, and ‘Back & Forth’, MK’s influence on house music is undeniable. His recent collaborations, including the fan-favorite ‘Rhyme Dust’ with Dom Dolla, which earned him an ARIA Award, and the dancefloor smash ‘Asking’ with Sonny Fodera & Clementine Douglas, have cemented his status as a modern icon of the genre.
Kicking off at Melbourne’s Timberyard on Thursday, 24 April, the tour continues at Perth’s Port Beach Brewery on Friday, 25 April, Sydney’s Roundhouse on Saturday, 26 April, and wraps up with a unique riverfront experience aboard Brisbane’s Oasis Cruise on Sunday, 27 April.

Event Details
A weekend event will be held to celebrate all things queer and deaf.
The Deaf Queer community is a vibrant and intersectional group of individuals who identify as both Deaf/Hard-of-Hearing/Deafened/Deafblind and LGBTQIA . This unique identity blends Deaf culture, sign language, and queer expression, fostering a resilient and powerful community.
Deaf Queer individuals navigate both Deaf culture, rooted in visual communication and sign language, and Queer culture, which celebrates diverse identities and orientations. However, they are often underrepresented in both Deaf and LGBTQIA spaces. Mainstream LGBTQIA events may lack accessibility, while some Deaf-focused events may not fully address the needs of Deaf Queer people.
By amplifying Deaf Queer voices, we create inclusive spaces where everyone is valued for their rich, multifaceted identities. Sign languages, like Auslan, play a significant role in expressing gender, emotions, and cultural experiences. The Deaf Queer Festival is a crucial space where these identities are celebrated, fostering visibility, connection, and support in a safe environment for those often facing isolation or exclusion.

NO SCRIPTS GIVEN
Watch some of Melbourne’s finest improvisers turn their tragic tales into an improvised comedy.
(Every Friday from May 2nd at The Butterfly Club)
When life gives you lemons (rubbish times). Make lemonade (improv), right? Right?!
We can all agree that life can be a bit rubbish at times. But do you ever find in the midst of the rubbish-ness something funny or annoying happens? Like, why is it we always stub our toe when we are having a serious moment? Or maybe once the rubbish-ness is over… you find yourself saying “Hang on a second.. now I look back….that was kinda funny”.
Sometimes the most painful things make for the funniest stories. As Charlie Chaplin once said: Moments which seem difficult up close can, with a bit of distance, reveal a lighter more humourous side. So, come by and watch our performers take the stage and find the humorous side in all of the ways you’d least expect!
Let’s cry, laugh and collectively heal together… because there’s no better medicine than lemonade (Improv!), right?!
No two shows will be the same!

Accessibility:
Outlast is a mask mandatory event* (excluding those with medical exemptions, those who are unable to mask or are in a wrestling match). P2/N95 masks recommended. Each floor includes gender neutral bathrooms. The ground floor is accessible for mobility aid users. The lounge and downstairs areas are accessed by a flight of stairs. The first show will take place on the ground floor, with the remaining shows all taking place downstairs. Tickets will be checked at the top of the stairs before reaching the basement – all the door person will need is the name you bought the ticket under. Strobe lighting will not be used at our show.
This event is held on the lands of the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation. We pay our respects to the elders past and present, and extend that respect to any Indigenous people who will be joining us for Outlast. Discounted tickets available for mob.
This was, and always will be, Aboriginal Land.
