mSOLO | INTERVIEW & GUEST MIX | POSITIVE EDUCATION | SATURDAY 9AM

Join me this Saturday, 8 July at 9AM on Positive Education for an interview and guest mix from mSOLO.

Artist Bio:

Melbourne-based DJ and producer mSOLO has found his home in the techno scene, currently sculpting his own unique sound dubbed ‘Techno Rave’, high energy Peak Time/Driving Techno with old school rave influence.

In 2018, mSOLO’s unofficial remixes of ‘Forever Young’ and ‘Infinity’ went viral, clocking in over 60 million views on YouTube combined, which pushed him to create his own original music.

Although he has been producing since 2013, his first techno track wouldn’t drop until his release of ‘I Like To Play’ from his debut album in 2021. It was this moment he knew he wanted to continue exploring this sound. In the same way music has had a profound influence on his own life, mSOLO wishes to affect the lives of many with his own music, but also by developing a signature sound that is recognised by many.

Since connecting with and learning from the Godfather of Techno, Thomas Schumacher, mSOLO has levelled up his production skills to deliver bigger sounds and harder bass. With releases on CAOS label and Seal Network, multiple remixes climbing the HypeEdit’s top 10 techno chart, and his most recent EP ‘Genghis Kahn’ on Renesanz hitting the top Beatport and iTunes top 10 Techno (Peak Time/Driving) charts, there’s no stopping this techno machine.

In recent months, mSOLO has taken the stage at iconic venues such as 170 Russell, New Guernica and Rubix Warehouse to name a few. He has also warmed the decks for the likes of blk., Black Traffic, Rory Marshall, DJ JNETT, Gumm, Bella Claxton, Lisa May, showcasing his high energy Techno Rave style. With a steady stream of unreleased music on the way,he’s tipped to be one of this year’s most exciting emerging artists, and beyond.

Check out the interview/guest mix, live in studio, Saturday 9am only on Kiss FM.
