petr:a (she/they) is a Manchester-born DJ who has become a steady fixture in the Melbourne scene over recent years. Her UK roots and years spent living in Melbourne have helped her to create an inimitable sound that continues to develop and expand.

She’s made regular appearances at Melbourne’s most iconic venues such as Revolver, ATET and Section 8, and has an impressive CV of international supports including Cinthie, Jamie Jones and LF System. 

petr:a’s chaotic attention span and fluid mixing style means you can often find them spinning through multiple genres of house, UKG, breaks, techno and speed garage & more, creating playfully feminine sets with filthy driving undertones. They also created queer/femme events collective White Rabbit, which aims to put the spotlight on minority and tokenised DJs in the Melbourne music scene.
