Melbourne’s own Kable54 will be performing live on Modern Hypnosis this Wednesday 4th January from 10:30am (AEST).
Kable54 currently focuses on performing his rangy synth driven, energetic electronic music, completely live, (without computers) around melbourne bars.
Right now, his main influences are 70’s Krautrockers like Kraftwerk & Conrad Snitzler, through to the current day Simian Mobile Disco as well as Youtube kids posting videos of bedroom synth jams.
He’s made 5 EPs in his time, running through genes such as midi rock, plastic ambient, and electronic acoustic, before now settling on his current sound.
Find him on facebook, instagram or bandcamp at Kable54 Music.
“K54 sent me a link to his sounds a few months ago and it caught my attention, I then went along to a live performance down at Workshop off Elizabeth St. The live experience was far different to anything I’ve heard out and about here in Melbourne, a lot of space, deep, uplifting and very energetic vibe. I’m pumped to have him on the show” Stormn Norm
