DJ Sean Escolar

Sean Escolar has been Djing in and around Melbourne for the last 20 years.  Starting off as a roller rink DJ with Kasey Taylor at the tender agent 12, he then moved into his own events in the Sandringham and Cheltenham areas in the early 90’s.

From there he moved onto radio on RRR and PBS playing Hip Hop, Soul, Jazz and Disco. Under his belt he has experience as a heavy metal drummer.  He is also a graduate of the Victorian College of the Arts – 1997 – Music.

Sean’s first residency was at Bass Station in 1998 alongside Will E Tell, Jeff Tyler and Adrian Van Ray.  At the same time when Sean made friends with Jeff Tyler he became a Phreakin resident in 2000 at the Mansion night club….at this time Sean became a true Hardware boy.  Sean Also Played at Hardware Earthcore one six one q bar seven Monkey Just to name a few asswel as putting his own nights on and his Floorplay Parties.

Sean also played in New York Miami Colombia London….

After 30 years of dedication, whether playing music to an audience or not –  the process and addiction is still alive and raring in him.  Ready to be unleashed again.
