ABOUT
Born in London, raised in Melbourne, 22-year-old Producer/DJ Noah Power is one to watch in Naarm’s electronic scene. Power’s unique production style, blending various elements of techno, trance, house and breaks, has earned widespread applause and earned him spots at some of the biggest venues in Melbourne.
Producer for upwards of 5 years, Power is fully self taught and now refining his craft by studying Music Production at Collarts, Power has become known for his euphoric and addictive sound. Since his first release in 2021, Vision, Power’s ever evolving originals have become weaved into the fabric of Melbourne’s underground scene, most recently being his EP; M.I.T.A, which was received to widespread applause.
Recent introduction of Power’s Live sets have created widespread buzz and intrigue. Hardware sets featuring integration of synthesis, sequencing and improvisation, have added another weapon to Power’s arsenal, differentiating himself from other upcoming artists. His most notable live performances have come at Yarragon Dairy Music & Arts festival and Revolver Upstairs.
Power, in addition to performing and producing, is the owner of Neoteric events. The Mornington-based event is solely focused on providing a platform for underground producers to showcase their original electronic music. After 5 iterations, 4 have sold out and have featured A-List Naarm acts such as Brent Honey, Marsh Long, Kumi, Tommy Craig and Ben Beezy.
As well as his individual endeavors, Power is also a member of the Louder Than Words crew. Focused on promoting underground electronic music, LTW orchestrates takeovers and events to bring undiscovered sounds to the forefront. Takeovers so far include Revolver Upstairs, Xe54, New Guernica and Angel Music Bar.
