We asked DJ ABUBIS to tell us a little bit about himself and what he has in store for the Where Love Lives Halloween Party on Friday 25th October.

“I am an artist at heart. I use this fundamental creativity in all my endeavours and by creating Anubis I bring my art to the people. This has opened the door for my next step – DJing in clubs which the journey has only just begun (a long time coming mind you!) My interest in DJing spawned from a young age starting as a lighting operator in nightclubs in 1991 then working for Razor Promotions (Savage, Redheads, Tasty Nightclub) and The Market Hotel amongst a host of others. I began collecting music and dreamt of one day DJing in nightclubs but never made the move – until recently.

In regard to my set, I aim to create a seamless flow. I curate all my sets for the audience and choose all my tunes for their own unique artistry and flow – thank-you to all the artists who produce such beautiful music! My style is eclectic, so at the Halloween party expect just that. I love all forms of house and electronica from ambient to deep, through to uplifting disco-house and trance” Anubis will be performing from 2am til 4am.
