Justin Neal – 30 minute guest mix on Brain Food Radio – 10pm to 11:30pm (AEST) – 14th of July 2026 (guest mix from 11pm)

Emerging from the Midwest rave scene of the late ’90s, Justin Neal has spent more than two decades developing a sound rooted in driving techno, precise layering and a strong connection to the dancefloor. Influenced by the foundational sounds of Detroit and Chicago, his sets focus on groove and flow, unfolding as immersive journeys for the floor.

Now based in Portland, Neal continues to refine his sound through releases on SubSensory and Detroit’s Bang Tech 12. His 2024 Clap Your Hands EP received support from Richie Hawtin and Laurent Garnier, while his latest EP “Keys on 94” has been played by Kulage and Perc.

Neal has new material on the way, including a collaboration project with D.Lawrence coming out later this year and this Friday a new release on Anode Records.
