Next week on Kickin’ It with Katija, we’ve got a huge show lined up with not one but two special guests joining us live in the studio! First up is Scottbars — a true part of our Melbourne hip hop community. He’s been behind the camera for Kickin’ It over the past few months, but now it’s his time to shine behind the mic. We’ll be diving into his debut self-produced album ‘Growing Up’, inspired by early 2000s Aussie rap blended with rock, pop and alternative flavours. Originally from Brisbane, Scott’s brought that raw energy and dedication with him into every corner of the culture.

Joining him is his mate PRLR, also hailing from Brisbane and now calling Melbourne home. He just dropped his brand new album ‘VSPR’, produced with Visceral Sound — a record rooted in old school hip hop but re imagined with modern sample-based and electronic production. Together, these two will be giving us a night packed with conversation, new music, and bars — plus they’ll both be stepping into the Spit Fire Sessions for some live heat in the KISS FM Studio.
