Yuto are an electronic duo based out of Melbourne. They are two brothers who, after growing up listening to the likes of Disclosure & Hayden James, accidentally made a venture into music production after downloading FL Studio a few years ago.

Since then, they’ve been producing non-stop and received healthy support from their local scene, being featured on local indie blog Acid Stag and radio stations like Triple J & Unearthed. 

Their sound fits within the tech house bracket, with the brothers often working with local vocalists or chopping samples to create catchy grooves. In the last few years they’ve built a solid audience on Spotify & have received consistent editorial and third-party playlisting support alike: you’ll find them everywhere from ‘Tech House Operator’ to ‘Vibe Check’. 

Recently, they’ve been listening to Sammy Virji, Riordan & Mau P; and are keen to make bigger waves after signing their first record deal with London-based GRADUATION*. 

The 2000 EP marks a slightly new direction in their sound, as Yuto explores darker, more club-ready sounds. They are certainly one to watch this year!
