Who Loves Radio presents their first guest mix by Progression Sessions resident Ellie Walsh.

Ellie is a 21 year old who started DJing when entering the Your Shot competition and having her life turned around by techno at Strawberry Fields 2016. She was a runner up at Your Shot and soon became part of the Progression Sessions family. Through Progression Sessions she has played at Railway Hotel Brunswick, Dimension, the Techno Time Boat Party and My Aeon.

She has gone on to study Music Production at SAE and looks forward to producing within the next few years.

“My love and understanding of techno is very deep and emotional. I feel that a love of techno often comes from a place of pain. Every song is just a relation to a feeling you have had before that takes you on a journey through that feeling. When you dance to techno it puts you in this meditative state where you are able to reflect and become more self aware. It also has the ability to take you to places you’ve never seen before in your beautiful mind..
The best way I know how to talk about myself in relation to music is to talk about how I connect with it.
I am only at the very beginning of my journey, I hope to continue improving and sharing what I love with all of those who will listen.”
