Join me this Saturday, 6th April at 9AM for a special episode of Positive Education. I’ll be joined live in studio by Sabutai.
Artist Bio:
Sabutai is a NAARM based artist who has a keen interest in traditional music from cultures around the world. He uses electronic music to carry the old vibes he grew up with to the dancefloor, transforming irregular local rhythms into 4/4 electronic beats. This has allowed him to create his own signature style of weaving through downtempo, house and techno music. He is currently running Saturday nights at 29th Apartment in St Kilda, alongside being a co-organiser of Relief Melbourne, a local music collective that regularly raises money for charitable causes. He is also part of Rubix Warehouse’s Silk Road events. In the past, he has taken part in festivals and events around town including Brunswick Music Festival, The Magic Garden Festival, Shunya Sessions, Rhytual Sessions, Rave Circuit, Urban Aeon, Luminosity, KissFM amongst others and will be playing his first bush doof for the Bloom Collective this coming April.
Check out the interview/guest mix, Saturday 9am only on Kiss FM.
