Beyond The Valley

Announce One Day NYE Tickets & Massive Central Park Local Lineup

After selling out all available multi-day tickets Beyond The Valley have announced that a limited release of one-day NYE tickets are now on sale for those wishing to experience the festival and see in the New Year on December the 31st.  One-day tickets are available via www.beyondthevalley.com.au for $179.  These tickets allow purchasers to enter the event from 11am on the 31st of December with access to all the mind-blowing amenities and entertainment the festival has to offer, but condensed! It is without doubt, the perfect solution for your New Years Eve celebrations!

With that announcement also comes the final line up of local talent playing the festival’s Central Park stage, which includes 90(!) of the most amazing, future classic Australian acts across a multitude of genres.

Some highlights from the plethora of acts revealed include Lastlings, a brother and sister duo from the Gold Coast who craft sublime dreamy indie pop.  The duo have been popping up on various tastemaker lists throughout the year as a band to watch in 2016 and will certainly provide the perfect, bliss inducing soundtrack for the rolling hills at Beyond The Valley.  Also added to the bill are the Beyond The Valley local band competition winners I Know The Chief.  Describing their euphoric sound as ‘Jungle Disco’ – I Know The Chief draws upon influences such as Foals, Classixx and Unknown Mortal Orchestra; they set out to “move the needle” on Australian music culture. Making a name for themselves on the live scene having supported heavyweights; Miami Horror, Yacht Club, Panama, Clubfeet, Gang of Youths.

Also joining the line up on the Central Park stage is Junor, this young free minded Melbourne rapper fuses personal introspective raps over forward thinking production to create a sonic soundscape located somewhere between your third-eye and his own dreamland. Oakland are currently doing big things,  the Australian house duo based out of Melbourne, have perfected the art of inventive piano-driven House, with a similar feel to UK acts likes Blonde and Second City, a brilliant addition to the Beyond The Valley lineup!.

Alex Lahey seems to be the name on everyone’s lips at the moment.  The Melbourne based singer songwriter has found recent acclaim through her supremely catchy debut single, Air Mail. With her 3 band-mates, her beloved fuzz pedal and, of course, the production of one Oscar Dawson (Holy Holy, Ali Barter) Alex Lahey is going places fast!  Rounding out just a few of the Central Park highlights is Flerm. The enigma that is Flerm, who the fuck is Flerm? Part meme, part DJ, Flerm could be the alias of a well- known Australian artist, and might just not be.  Look, we’d be lying if we told you we knew, we just know that it’s going to be damn good!

The full Central Park stage lineup includes: 5AM Feat.
