I haven’t been in the studio for months … its my birthday …..I’ve hijacked Pixleton mixing skills and my track selection to bring you some of my favorite aussie artists and international artists and tracks that were my introduction to techno and wanting to become a dj and tracks that were played and or produced by djs we know and love and a couple of guilty pleasures. Thank you so much Toni for taking me up on this request for my birthday. Pixleton will be back on the 6th of october to play her own style
Pixleton hit the ground dancing in the 90’s, making a name for herself in the underground warehouse movement of Melbourne. She made an immediate impact with a ribald funk tempered with massive baselines and 4×4 kicks that laid waste to dance floors. She was the go to dj for a stylish, punk-tech sensibility that spoke to a generation of politically savvy and commercially exhausted punters. Fresh and loud.
Through delivering a unique and eclectic mix of bass and jackin beats to the ever party faithful, Pixleton has carved a reputation for providing utmost quality to the dancefloor, locked and loaded every time.
