It’s time to feel that disco fever, with April’s Monthly Mover. Her Soundcloud states she’s “just another disco jockey” but this Melbourne based funkadelic gem is much more than that. Bertie is a Melbourne-based DJ that’s been on the scene for a few years now, holding a residency at Xe54 since its inception and popping up in venues across the city. She’s supported the likes of CC:Disco, DJ Koze, Thomas Jack and PADDY (UK), and performed at Beyond The Valley 2016, 2017 & 2018, Gaytimes Festival 2019 and Pitch Arts & Music Festival 2019.
As a DJ, she likes to blend a mix of disco, groovy house, electronica, world beats (and everything in-between) into her sets. Expect a journey through the genres with a heart of disco.
