Will King live in the the KISS FM studio this Thurs night on OPEN DECK w VEZZEE live from 8:30PM

Will first started DJing when he was 14 but didn’t really get into it until he was 19 after falling in love with the Melbourne music scene. He taught himself how to DJ by going out to live gigs and watching the DJs intently, learning a variety of skills by simply watching what other DJs were doing, focusing exclusively on minimal and Melbourne bounce music.

Towards the end of 2019 he started playing at an open deck night every week at a venue in Collingwood. During the lockdown which saw a loss of gigs for 9 months, he started producing, making remixes and bootlegs as well as a few mashups.

He continued to make connections within the industry, and as a result of those connections, got a residency at Orange Whip Nightclub upon the reopening of nightclubs. Since then he has been exposed to a whole new style of music has have started to play more commercial and party style sets. Since the closure of Orange Whip he joined the team at Void and plays there regularly, playing a mix of party and minimal sets.

He has also secured some regional gigs with Jump Touring and is starting to get some opportunities at some new venues. He continues to produce, making bootlegs and edits to add into his sets.
