Event Details

Nestled amongst the mighty Otway gums, Meadow takes place in the regional Victorian Surf Coast town of Bambra for three days and two nights of non-stop audio-visual stimuli. From Friday 23 – Sunday 25 April, the rolling Bambra hills will come alive with a diverse array of aural delights, epic sights and wondrous heights with delectable selections of music, food & drink and even films with Meadow’s beloved Glow Relaxo small screen cinema, returning in 2021 with a wondrous selection of Australian short films.

Introducing the recent Meadow lineup additions: Private Function, Prequel, King Stingray, C.Frim, Kult Kyss, Mindy Meng Wang 王萌 x Tim Shiel, The Seven Ups, Bones and Jones, ctrl me, Matt Bourke and the Delusional Drunks and Birdsnake, plus DJs: Dr. Condiments, Joey Lightbulb, Annaliese Redlich, Emerald and Ramdaddy. These acts will join an already stacked lineup of King Gizz, Angie McMahon, HTRK, Surprise Chef and a whole heap more for three days and two nights of music, camping and real-life hangs at the iconic Bambra Bowl this April.

Continuing their longstanding commitment to supporting local producers and suppliers, the Meadow crew are once again thrilled to present an all-local spread of food and drink options. The fresh, tasty lineup will be coupled by an even more mouth-watering feast of local produce and regionally focussed sips, with craft beers from Salt Brewing Company (Aireys Inlet), gin from Great Ocean Road Gin (Aireys Inlet), plus hand-picked cool climate wines from neighbouring Otway Hinterlands vineyards: Heroes Vineyard (Pennyroyal), Dinny Goonan Wines (Bambra) and Livewire Wines (Bellarine Peninsula). Carefully curated food stalls will boast some of the best bites of the region, operated by local restaurants and businesses such as Pete’s Woodfired Pizza (Aireys Inlet), Perla Tacos (Torquay), Tin Can Alley Cafe (Lorne), Hulms Pies (Colac) and more to come.

In parallel to the stellar live showcase, Meadow introduces a Virtual Festival in 2021. 14 artists, 2 sunsets, 2 sunrises, dancing, cocktails, camping and more captured live from the Bambra Bowl. Meadow will partner with Hutch Collective and Baked to beam a dusty Autumn sky, rugged bushland and a once in a year-time musical retreat back to the comfort of your living room providing a level of certainty that’s been missing since last March. You buy a ticket. You can watch the festival from home. Access via the Humanitix Virtual Events Hub. Simple. Professionally produced, presented on-demand over a 3 day period, two weeks after Meadow Music Festival. May 7-9, 2021.

Uniquely intimate performances with no overlapping set times. Leisure and pleasure shared among an open-minded community of just 1000 participants. All backdropped by a rugged edge-of-the-world type beauty found only in the Otway Hinterlands. General Release tickets now SOLD OUT with Virtual Festival tickets still available.
