This week we’re switching things up and handing over the studio for a proper GRIME TAKEOVER.

Joining me are JLP, MACCA and DJ/producer KRYPSIS, three artists representing different corners of the sound and helping keep grime moving in Australia.

MACCA represents Grime Down Under and It’s A London Thing, bringing hard-hitting bars, sharp delivery and a distinctly Australian edge to a sound born in the UK. Alongside him is JLP, a 25-year-old multi-genre artist from the ACT representing TwentySix-Seventeen, It’s A London Thing and Grime Down Under Collective.

Behind the decks we’ve got KRYPSIS, a DJ and producer with more than a decade in the game. Coming up through dubstep, drum & bass and rave culture before developing his own direction as a producer, his music has landed on labels including EN:83, Keysound Recordings and N4 Records, putting his name alongside some serious names in UK underground music.

But this isn’t going to be your standard interview…

🔥 JLP, MACCA & KRYPSIS are taking over the KISS MIXLAB for an ENTIRE HOUR, with a live DJ set featuring new music, exclusives and plenty of grime.

🎤 Then we’re bringing in members of the GDU crew + some surprise guests for a LIVE 30-MINUTE GRIME CYPHER in the studio.

Multiple MCs. Live DJ. Unreleased tunes. Surprise guests. No idea exactly what’s going to happen once we hand them the mics — which is exactly how we want it.

If grime is your thing, you already know. If it isn’t normally your lane, this might be the show that changes your mind.
