Sunora is the collaborative project of Chertkovski and Alar, two artists bringing together years of individual experience, global influences and a shared passion for emotionally driven electronic music. Combining deep studio craftsmanship with a strong sense of atmosphere and place, Sunora represents a fresh approach to modern house music; one rooted in organic textures, melodic depth and timeless groove.

Formed as a space to explore their shared musical vision, Sunora’s sound sits at the intersection of melodic house, indie dance and organic electronic music. Their productions are defined by warm analogue-inspired synths, rolling basslines, hypnotic rhythms and expressive vocal elements, creating immersive records that feel equally at home in open-air environments, intimate gatherings and late-night dancefloors.

The duo’s journey began with their collaboration Bianco Montana alongside Lee Burridge, released on All Day I Dream in March 2026. The track marked a significant early milestone, introducing Sunora’s emotive and cinematic sound to a global audience and receiving support from respected figures across the electronic music scene.

In April 2026, Sunora launched their own record label, SUNCTURE, creating a platform for music that reflects their shared philosophy: trusting instinct, prioritising feeling and championing artists who value authenticity and musicality. The label opened its catalogue with Echoes of Light, a three-track EP created alongside FunkT!de, introducing SUNCTURE’s signature blend of groove-led house music, organic instrumentation and understated emotion.

Since then, Sunora have continued to build the label’s identity through a series of carefully curated releases, including collaborations with FunkT!de, Kapir and their own productions. Their single Sunset to Sunrise with Kapir showcased the duo’s ability to create expansive, melodic moments, while subsequent releases including Disco Voices with FunkT!de further explored the more musical and groove-driven side of the SUNCTURE sound.

Beyond the studio, Sunora’s music is deeply connected to movement, travel and the environments that inspire them. In April 2026, the duo brought their sound to Thailand for a series of open-air performances, beginning at Yuchi Beach in Phuket, followed by Electric Forest in Koh Samui and Praya in Koh Phangan. These performances reflected the immersive, location-driven nature of their music and their belief in creating experiences that extend beyond the dancefloor.

Individually, both artists bring significant experience and recognition to the project. Chertkovski has established himself as one of the most distinctive talents on the Russian electronic music scene, with a versatile sound supported by artists including Nora En Pure, NTO, Eelke Kleijn and Vintage Culture, alongside coverage from platforms such as Tomorrowland One World Radio, DJ Mag and Mixmag. Now based in Thailand, his international career has seen him perform at leading venues and festivals including Savaya Bali, Soho Garden DXB, Ulu Cliff House and Odyssey Festival, while also founding the respected Reverse Festival.

Alar (formerly Alexander Alar) operates at the forefront of melodic electronic music, blending Indie Dance, Melodic House & Techno and Afro House into deeply emotive productions. Ranked among the Top 30 Melodic House & Techno producers on Beatport, his work has received support from artists including Solomun, Adriatique and Pete Tong. With releases on respected labels such as Get Physical, Armada and Bar 25, and performances spanning Burning Man, Ibiza, Tulum and Bali, he has developed a reputation for crafting immersive electronic music with a distinctive emotional identity.

Together as Sunora, Chertkovski and Alar are building a project centred around connection, atmosphere and musical storytelling, creating a sound that reflects their shared belief that the most memorable electronic music is not defined by trends, but by the emotions and moments it creates.
