The Visionary Curator & Dark Disco Advocate

NavAmbo serves as the conceptual architect and event curator behind the Secret Locations movement. Driving the collective’s aesthetic identity, Nav brings a rhythmic tension rooted in the retro-futuristic edges of Dark Disco, Italo, post-punk, and EBM. As a DJ and space curator, his obsession centers on the “atmosphere of the room” – ensuring lighting, visuals, and raw sound align to push a “Deep as F*ck” ideology. Whether transforming a basement club or setting up a remote pontoon session, Nav’s focus is on curating visceral, memory-defining experiences that challenge mainstream party formats.

The History: From Music Stores to Underground Nodes

The Fijian Underground Network: Before migrating to Australia, Nav owned a string of music stores in Fiji specializing in global chart-toppers. He leveraged this shop network to discreetly build a community of progressive house enthusiasts, laying the foundation for the original Secret Locations Fiji underground parties.

Evolution to Australia: Now based in Australia alongside Sach (Chapel@8), the brand has evolved into Secret Locations, shifting focus toward high-end video projects and curating immersive physical events.

Moving Mind & Body: The current Australian chapter focuses on transforming blank spaces into immersive visual-and-sonic nodes across Melbourne and Sydney, designing events that move both the mind and the body.
