His early radio days led him to interview internationally acclaimed superstars like MC Hammer. BAKKIS credits Jean Michel Jarre and KLF as key influences that shaped his sound and career trajectory.
Expanding beyond radio,BAKKIS became a sought-after club DJ in the late 2000s, playing for some of the world’s most iconic club brands and venues such as Destino Pacha, Dunes Ibiza, Hard Rock Ibiza, and major spots in Norway like Ricks Bergen and Rebel. His energetic performances quickly earned him a loyal following and recognition in the global house scene.
His debut release, “Larry,” on Huxley’s Dumb Safari label, made an impressive impact, reaching #18 on the Global Top 100 releases, #5 in the Top 100 Tech House releases, and #38 on the Tech House Hype Chart on Beatport.His follow-up release, “Green Celery,” also saw success, landing at #72 on the Tech House HypeChart.
