Bedroom Culture With Bex

Welcome to a month of exclusive mixes straight from the bedrooms of Melbourne-based Dj’s.
Most dj’s start out in their bedrooms, mixing together years and years of their favourite tracks. This month, we’re asking them to re-visit the cave and hit us back with a mix inspired by what they would play for themselves, to themselves.

This weeks guest:

Bex

Melbourne based artist, Bex creates progressive sets that explore melancholic and dreamy deep house through to melodic, deep minimal techno. Her sound is influenced by a diverse range of electronic music that uses organic and natural soundscapes. Drawing inspiration from Middle Eastern sounds, complex rhythms, and deep moving baselines. Her music lends itself to the outdoors, and she has played at such festivals as Yemaya, Dragon Dreaming and recently appeared at the Rainbow Serpent Urban Gathering in Melbourne. Her musical taste explores the introspective, melancholic and euphoric nature of music.
