Vincent Filippone AKA Hombre, Current member of the DJ Duo “MIK&VIN” originates from the Western Suburbs of Melbourne, lover of dance music from a young age, formed his solo DJ alias 5 years ago for “shits & gigs”. It was unknown where this would take him but as time progressed, this dream quickly became a reality.

Formally known for his love for Trap and Moombahton, Hombre found his niche through Melodic House and Techno, He began to create his own hybrid sound that fits both clubs and festivals.

His biggest accolades to date are securing numerous sets with highly renowned brands, Defected, Glitterbox, Pacha Melbourne and most recently Ultra Music Festival, in which he continues to hold strong relationships with. Vincent has also been lucky enough to play at the infamous Sky Garden Nightclub in Bali and Summer Club 65 in Milan, Italy. He has also toured Australia with clubbing brand “One of them Nights” as a resident DJ.

Hombre currently holds residencies at Levels Melbourne, P1 Saturdays and holds close affiliations with local clubbing/event brand Discobox.

The future looks bright for the “veteran” (or the Don) as his peers call him, collaborating with local artists to produce his unique sound, Hombre hopes to secure sets at various festivals around Australia to showcase his many talents.
