LQ is the creative & driving force behind Jungle, Dubwise & Dubstep Soundsystem & Record Label, Echo Chamber Sound. The system, established in 2012 and rooted in Melbourne, stands as a prominent figure in the bass music scene. Hailing originally from Aotearoa New Zealand, LQ is one of Melbourne’s best sound managers. Jungle/dnb sub-label Run it Red, is the best example of this, throwing regular parties featuring international artists on the full 4 scoop system. Ravers and punters who attend these events are always treated to hearing rare dub plates and unreleased music. It is the stoic attitude of operating in an original 90’s jungle style which sets LQ’s parties & record label aside from the rest.
