The Seldrak Experience is the journey of a musician who stepped away from his craft only to return with clearer purpose. Paul Sedrak first found his voice behind a drum kit at twelve. Jazz bands, orchestra work, blues, punk, and rock shaped his early years and taught him how to read emotion through rhythm. Music was his anchor until his early twenties when he walked away from it completely.

Everything changed at thirty two after the passing of his father. Grief pushed him back toward music as a way to heal, and DJing became the path forward. What began with the YOUR SHOT experience soon led him into the bush-doof world where he found community, meaning, and space to rebuild. It was here that he rediscovered the part of himself he thought he had lost.

Over the past year and a half Paul has become a rising name across Melbourne’s clubs and outdoor gatherings. He has played Jam Pineapple, Luminous Gathering, Alternative ESO in Ballan, Euphoria Sunday Funday, and a run of venues including My Aeon, Laundry Bar, Baxter’s Lot, Lucky Coq, Royal Melbourne Hotel, and Bad Decisions. One month saw him stack eight gigs as momentum took hold and people began to connect with his sound.

A drummer at heart, rhythm shapes everything he does. His sets weave dark techno, bush prog, funk house, disco, melodic house, progressive house, and psy influences into a style that feels cheeky on the surface yet deeply emotional underneath. He moves with the music, freestyles in the booth, and treats every set as a shared journey.

For Paul, every performance is a tribute to his father, to the people who lifted him, and to his choice to live with full conviction. This is The Seldrak Experience. A story carried by rhythm, feeling, and truth.
