Local Melbourne drag artists Amanda Blow, Freida Commitment, Moxie Delite and Opal Essance invite you to the very first WERKSHOP! A beginner’s drag workshop weekend intensive! From November 23rd onwards, join these divas in special tutorials, teachings and workshops on how to get your start in different areas of drag, from makeup to hosting to show production.

Venue, workshop and contact information for each workshop will be included in ticket types. Workshops will be held in a mixture of in-person and online venues.

In-person workshops are *Mask Mandatory, meaning that if you are capable, we expect you to mask up when not doing makeup. The performers will be monitoring any COVID symptoms and taking RAT tests where necessary, and it is an expectation for our attendees to do the same.

This event is held on the lands of the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation. We pay our respects to the elders past and present, and extend that respect to any Indigenous people who will be joining us for The Werkshop. Discounted tickets available for mob.
