“D.KO is a wax only label coming straight out of the streets of Paris, hosting the outputs of French rising stars LB (aka Labat), Flabaire, Mad Rey and Mezigue. Quickly gaining traction since their debut release in 2013, D.KO tracks have turned up in sets from new school stalwarts Detroit Swindle, Fouk, Brame and Hamo and Leon Vynehall to legends Ben UFO, Four Tet and Mr. G.

Mad Rey exploded onto the modern house scene in the early 2010’s with his rough and stripped back take on traditional French flavours, carrying old school groove and punchy tones into a fresh off-kilter vibe easily recognised as the D.KO sound. His debut release “Quartier Sex EP” has been red hot since dropping, finding it’s way into crates of the likes of Move D, Till Von Sein, Submerge and Homework.

The elusive Mézigue sent a shockwave through the Parisian underground with his jaw dropping, spine wobbling, feet stomping Summer release in June ’16 titled ”Mangez Moi”, led by the anthem “Du Son Pour Les Gars Sûrs.” His unique blend of thumping kicks, crawling acid basslines and uplifting melodies creates a powerful sonic presence on both airwaves and dancefloors from the EU to AUS.”
