Artist Bio: 

It is said that the name “Grimes” is of Nordic descent and is roughly translated into English as “Booty”. Once you see him get behind the decks it will quickly become apparent why, as you will be swiftly compelled to move yours. Although he has been in the Melbourne Dance Music Arena for a relatively short amount of time, he has rapidly invigorated the scene capturing the eyes and ears of everyone in his path. The Thick as Thieves resident is a main stayer at the likes of Circus, Onesixone and Revolver and has supported the likes of Pleasurekraft, Weiss and Sidney Charles. Alongside this you’ll see him cooking up a storm as the in house Head Chef for Melbourne Dance Music Academy, as well popping up at festivals such as Babylon and Earthcore. Happiest on both sides of the decks immersed within the sounds of groovy and bass driven tech house and techno, if you haven’t enjoyed the skills he has to share on the d-floor as well as the decks, you are in for a treat.
