It Takes a Village to Make a Music City: Music Policy from top to bottom.
Music Cities Convention is heading to Melbourne for its first ever Australasian edition! With the theme ‘It takes a village to make a music city: Music Policy from top to bottom’ the event will bring together 300 global leaders from government to academia to the music industry to showcase best practices on the use of music – and all its variants – to improve city life.
There will be 40+ speakers from Europe, Asia, Australasia, Africa, North America and South America.
Topics will range from ‘music policy in Asia’ to ‘the visitor economy’ to ‘the role of landowners’ and much more, with the first schedule being released at the end of January.
