London-based DJ/producer, Zone 2 has been developing a strong name for himself in the underground house music scene, producing electronic music for 10 years and releasing many tracks in that time. 2017 saw the birth of Street Recordings, a label mainly for Zone 2’s productions but also for other artists in the future.
2019’s big-room, piano houser, ‘Get Different’ saw support from Robbie Rivera, Doorly, Tommie Sunshine, Paul Oakenfold, Joachim Garraud, Russell Small, Horse Meat Disco and more. Subsequent production ‘Not Over Yet’ gained radio support from Christian Homan and Neal McClelland on RTE Pulse and Cool FM.
Zone 2’s sound comes from early musical years of listening to hip-hop and 90s hardcore – Ray Keith and Foul Play being influenced, as well as house pioneers Rhythm Masters and Full Intention. All these combined form the acid-fuelled, smooth vocal piano house fusion that creates his distinctive sound and feel.
Zone 2 is a regular at underground house events across London, where you can experience his eclectic and naturalistic DJ sets, showcasing unreleased material and his favorite finds. He’s an artist determined to have his say on the house scene, with no signs of slowing down any time soon.
