XOVR- It takes years of experience to become a DJ that can hold their own on the biggest of stages.Melbourne-based DJ Producer XOVR (pronounced ‘Crossover’) has done exactly that as he has been feverishly working behind the decks for nearly two decades.Hardstyle is his preferred weapon of choice and he has never looked back since debuting at the Victorian capital’s iconic Amnesia party.He has dabbled in other genres, notably collaborating with Hip Hop artists and making hard hitting and melodic instrumentals. But when the pandemic hit, he returned to his true love of Hardstyle on the Twitch platform.

Getting audiences jumping to that incessant juggernaut of a beat, triggered an emotional reunion with a genre that he thought he had left behind. That virtual experience also led him to discovering the online game Final Fantasy and new opportunities in music production and performances arose. Developing close ties with Swage from Dim Mak and DJ Brisk from Team Brisk on Twitch, XOVR also played for Tr!p and Link Events alongside close friend BLKDRVGON.

Furthermore, in 2023 XOVR joined up with KEMIKAL to produce a Rawstyle track titled Insanity.Following on from that release, his reputation is about to get white hot as more tracks emerge to see the light of day. Now the appetite to play those tracks to live audiences is growing, andMelbourne will once again get its Rave on.
