Manchester-based Visceral has been a devout lover and strong advocate for the 140 scene for well over 10 years, having originally fallen in love with the sound back in 2010. This driving passion led onto the creation of Youtube channel, Infernal Sounds. The channel originally started as a place to upload dubs from the top radio shows at the time, in an attempt to source an ID for the tracks.
Eventually, a thirst for more led the channel to evolve into a fully fledged record label, sourcing its debut release from New Zealand heavyweights, Perverse. Having spanned across 4 years of releases, the label is now one of the most established record labels in the scene, having produced 20 releases to date. It has featured the likes of J:Kenzo, Cluekid, Sepia, DE-TU along with many more top-notch talents.
As a platform and an individual, Visceral has tried to spread the scene to the furthest sides of the globe to reach untapped minds. Through Infernal Sounds, he has created a community hub for like minded individuals to enjoy the rawest, underground bass music around.
Common Audio are pleased to welcome Visceral for this week’s guest mix on Kiss FM. Tune in from 7.00pm AEDT on 87.6 and 87.8 FM Melbourne and online this Monday 17th February.
