Tom EQ | Guest Mix | After Effect Radio | Saturday 10:30PM

Tune in this Saturday, Feb 27th from 10:30PM.

”Tom EQ has been producing since 2008 and has releases on Jack Union, Dirtybird, Simma Black Wearhouse, Gung Ho!, Jack Knife and others. He is 1/2 of “The Potato Heads” along with Jeff Doubleu and is most recently collaborating with South African wonder kid Kyle Watson as “TK”.

Tom EQ is currently working on a new project called “Box of cats” this is essentially a label that acts as a creative conduit to release tracks by Wongo, Tom EQ, Jeff Doubleu, Jak Z and Kyle Watson” The first EP will be released early 2016. All EP’s will be released on the Box of Cats Soundcloud page.

There have been many plays of his tracks, remixes and mix sets on national radio stations around the world from BBC and Kiss in the UK to Tripple J in Straya. Tom EQ is an in demand artist who once sat in a seat next to Dolf Lundgren on a flight to LA.

Tom EQ is widely credited with discovering Carl Cox. Tom EQ has never thrown cake.

Tom EQ has been lucky enough to DJ all over the world in Countries like Australia, South Africa, Belgium, Holland, Germany, Latvia and UK. Including at the infamous Ministry of Sound where he once played a 3 hour set warming up for David Guetta which almost ended up in a toilet tragedy since the club was too packed and the gents were too far away.

Tom EQ has no remorse, after DJ’ing in the Gold Coast at Wongo’s club night “Phunkers”, on returning to his hotel room at 5am he lambasted the front desk receptionist when his keycard did not work in his hotel room door. The receptionist apologised and advised Tom EQ was at the wrong hotel. Tom EQ did not apologise.

Tom EQ is a born and bred turntable junkie who likes talking about himself from a 3rd person perspective”
