Ango is a 22-year-old DJ, songwriter, and producer from Melbourne, redefining electronic dance music through an innovative and emotionally charged sound.  A founding force behind Soirée—one of Melbourne’s most exciting emerging parties—and a core artist on Art City Records, Ango has earned support from global tastemakers including: Skin on Skin, Patrick Topping, DJ Seinfeld and Sam Alfred. 

A few weeks on from Ango’s EP release ‘Floating’ is making waves across Europe and beyond.  The EP marked a pivotal moment in his evolution: he released three original tracks (Tell Me, I Tried, How You Feel), written and recorded over three months, featuring live vocals and a refined, boundary-pushing sound.  With heavyweight support from the likes of DJ Seinfeld, over 50 radio plays, and hundreds of Shazams rolling in, the momentum is real.  The project has racked up 30,000+ streams across all major DSPs and is stirring up genuine buzz across social media.

Ango started his career making and selling ‘type beats,’ before exploring everything from garage rock to film scoring.  While studying commerce at Monash University (where he’s now finishing), he developed a strategic mindset to complement his creative one.  His breakthrough came at 19 with Shine on Me (2022), which gained over 300K streams and local attention.  He followed that with a four-song deal on Shelter and a two-track release on All Ways Dance, collectively earning over 3 million streams and building a loyal base of 60,000+ monthly listeners.

Next up for Ango is a beautiful vocal-led Summer Dance tune featuring vocals by Gigi Russ.  Over 12 months in the making, Ango is set to release ‘You are the One’ to tie in with the current Northern Summer and forthcoming Aussie Spring.
