SPANK BIO
Rest that stress nodule, take a break in the baby-carrier we’ve made for your brain – the admin is done and its all queers-to-the-front and excited dance-floor-pointing from here on in.
Spank! invites you to set up camp for a dedicated shift at the club with a big glass of bubble water and your favourite, fluffiest teddy bear. No acoustic intros, no time wasting, no late starts. Extra sensory adventure in store for those who wouldn’t mind an evening swim through the gooey pink custard of the mind. A dancefloor reminiscent of a doughnut, in fact, and we’ll all be the sprinkles on top.
Our lineup is a bit of a fairy floss dream:

Whiskey Houston BIO
Whiskey has a reputation for erupting parties into euphoric, sweaty messes – spinning her picks from the late ‘70s to early ‘90s; traversing genres from disco of all flavours – italo to boogie – house, club classics, new wave and synth-pop to stoke up a late night on the tiles.
The Melbourne-based DJ has supported US acts Spinderella (Salt-N-Pepa), JD Samson (Le Tigre, MEN), Stacey “Hotwaxx” Hale, Justin Strauss, and played party-starting sets for The Village People at Golden Plains Festival, 2015. She’s made an indelible mark on Melbourne’s queer party scene by igniting and fostering communities through club nights Danceteria, Flawless, and her new co-run “gay-ass disco” Outpost running bi-monthly in Melbourne. By day, Whiskey advocates for better treatment and representation of marginalised people in the music industry through the grassroots movement LISTEN.
