Sistren Shirley is London’s top newest female vinyl roots reggae selector, DJing strictly vinyl.

Growing up in London throughout the 70s & 80s reggae was always a huge influence. Attending Jah Shaka & Aba Shanti sessions (alongside seeing her favourite artists such as Black Uhuru, Gregory Isaacs and Dennis Brown) throughout the nineties to present.

With her own extensive roots vinyl reggae collection, she now DJs at some of the best events in London and across the U.K. and is part of the Real Roots crew. Sets have included selecting on U.K. sound systems such as Real Roots Sound System & Albion Sound System.

She is a regular selector for Real Roots Radio.
