I’m thrilled to announce Ryan McDougall joining Positive Education as a guest host, making his debut Monday 10 November at 8:30 PM.

Striking the perfect balance between rhythm and melody, Melbourne techno producer Ryan McDougall crafts a sound defined by darker basslines, rich textures and lush atmospheric layers. His work spans live performance, high-production visuals and underground event curation — all underscored by a deep passion for authentic electronic expression.

Drawing melodic inspiration from Stephan Bodzin and Final Request, and darker influence from Richie Hawtin, Noir and Marcal, Ryan’s sets and productions explore the emotional and physical pull of techno in equal measure.

He’s also the founder of Proponent Records, a label dedicated to fostering emerging talent and experimenting with new technologies to level the playing field for artists worldwide.

Tune in Monday 10 November, 8:30 PM AEDT — as Ryan steps behind the decks for his first Positive Education session only on Kiss FM Australia.
