Marilyn Matrix is a Melbourne based DJ, with a rich background in performing arts. Training as a professional dancer & singer, she spent her teenage years writing & playing in a grunge rock band, trying out a range of instruments.
Marilyn’s biggest inspiration came from years of living and raving in Berlin, which cultivated a refined and sophisticated taste in dance music. You can hear the European influence in her sets.
Inspired by the energy of the 90’s rave scene and a taste for the darkside, Marilyn blends hypnotic sounds of techno, deep tech, garage, trance, hard house & minimal to create sets that are both trance-inducing, groovy and full of energy.
Her unique style and sound makes for a vibrant performance, that is sure to get the crowd dancing.
Marilyn Matrix is a resident DJ at the iconic Circus Sundays and can be found playing regularly at Revolver Upstairs, New Guernica, The Breakfast Club & Killing time to name a few.
