Qualé(aka Seb Vanderbeken) is one of Melbourne’s most experienced DJs. Stacking up over 20 years of DJ wisdom, Qualé’s precise, clean-edged sound is a testament to his proficiency behind the decks.
Qualé has played alongside a plethora of techno royalty, including Chris Liebing, Marcel Dettmann, Ben Klock, Truncate/Audio Injection, Perc, Tommy Four Seven and Etapp Kyle, to name just a few. He is also a founding member of Melbourne events crew When The Smoke Clears.
Quale’s own projects include his inaugural club night of Tchupa Tchup, running out of EuroTrash and My Aeon 2009-12 and then the aforementioned When the Smoke Clears at Brown Alley in 2012-13, Loop Bar in 2014-15, Railway Hotel (2016-17).
