Join me this Saturday, 10 February at 9AM for a special episode of Positive Education. I’ll be joined live in studio by Pleasant Michelle & BBSANII.
Artist Bio:
Pleasant Michelle
Bouncy bass lines, punchy kicks and an eagerness for a catchy synth is one quick way to describe his productions. Pleasant Michelle is a 23 year old Naarm based DJ/producer with a keen interest in the uprising trance/eurodance scene. With over 100k plays on Soundcloud and many tracks yet to hit the air waves, he is quickly making his way onto the radar with no signs of slowing down.
In 2019, the underground dance music scene was unlocked for him after attending Beyond The Valley festival for the first time. Since then he was introduced to the art of DJing and found himself stumbling across Ableton not long after.
In the words of Pleasant Michelle: “The idea of being able to create a track that doesn’t exist, and not knowing the power it holds for some poeple out there; is what is so exciting abut this form of expression. Music is something that’s ever evolving and exercising creativity is the most fulfilling way to live”.

bbsanii hails from the western suburbs of Naarm and is a multifaceted artist, working as a producer, DJ, live performer, and multi-instrumentalist. Their experience spans from producing electronic music through various collaborations and their project “bbsofii” with Naarm vocalist “JUPiTA”, as well as performing at notable venues like Colour Club, Section 8, and Kindred Bandroom. bbsanii is also immersed in the live music scene of Melbourne, crafting sonic textures and soundscapes for fusion band “In Xira” and performing live improvisation regularly at Kindred Bandroom’s “Flow Motion”.
