MISS FEE | GUEST MIX | 16TH MARCH 2021 | CAAMA CLUB

A vinyl enthusiast since the early 1990s with a collection curated over 25 years encompassing hip- hop, techno, jungle, reggae, dancehall and more, Miss Fee’s arrival into the world of music began when she hosted and produced a radio show at the age of 16 in New Zealand.

Moving permanently to Melbourne in 2001, she quickly became a fixture of the local reggae scene; as a prominent performer, promoter, event producer, and in 2004, she founded Housewife’s Choice Sound with selecta Bellyas. The pair immediately found musical synergy and joined forces, quickly becoming known for juggling up-to-the-time riddims alongside foundation tunes & exclusive dubplates in an authentic Jamaican style.

Stepping into 2021 this formidable female duo continues to go from strength to strength, and Miss Fee says that this has been a significant year with some exciting projects up their sleeves. Housewife’s Choice have been busy building their very own sound system and are proud to present as the first all-female reggae sound system in Australia, replete with handcrafted speaker boxes and their inimitable style.

Expect no less than top notch, bass heavy selections and killer dubplate specials from Housewife’s Choice, when they launch their soundsystem at Forward Ever on Friday 26th March at The Industruque, 5-7 Louvan Street, Coburg North.
