TERRI BROOKS | GUEST INTERVIEW | FORUM | LEE-ANN JOY | MON 8:30 – 10 PM

This week on FORUM, we are super-excited to have artist, curator and publisher, Terri Brooks.

Terri Brooks is a contemporary abstract artist painter, who works with paper and is interested in the intersections between painting, drawing and sculpture within the field of minimalism.

Terri is a curator, a published writer, and as an artist has held over twenty solo exhibitions and participated in numerous group exhibitions over a thirty-year period.

Currently, her work is represented in Australia, Hong Kong and the UK.

In 2006 she was invited to attend an artist workshop in far North-East Germany, returning for a joint exhibition at the museum of Neubrandenburg in 2009. In that year she also completed her PhD research at the University of Ballarat (now Federation University).

In 2014-5 she was the project leader of ‘Direction Now’, a national touring exhibition of ten leading abstract artists.

Terri has exhibited widely from Poland to London and Los Angeles and in late 2015 travelled to Europe for solo exhibitions in Milan and the Netherlands.

Her work is in numerous collections and has also had work selected by leading interior designers for award-winning projects which often lead to magazine publications.

Join us on FORUM, Monday 8:30 – 10 pm to talk to Terri about her art, her projects and her upcoming exhibition at Flinders Lane Gallery.
