Here’s a bit more on Jamie XXX

  • JAMIE STEVENS BIO 2015
Founding member of celebrated, Australian award-winning live electronica act Infusion, Jamie Stevens has slowly been building his own profile through releases on Bedrock, microCastle, Chameleon and Tulipa.Recently, Jamie’s collaboration with John Digweed and Nick Muir on Bedrock resulted in an epic techno production for the “VS” album whilst his glorious “The Wonder of You” EP on microCastle caused a massive stir hitting number 11 in Beatport’s Top 20 release chart and number 1 in their tech house chart. Guy J even went to declare “The Wonder of You” as “one of the best pieces of music ever made”.The instantly recognisable remixes created for the likes of Hernan Cattaneo, John Digweed, Booka Shade, Cid Inc and Secret Cinema, amongst a host of others, have been no stranger to praise and support from the biggest names in the industry like Adam Beyer, Sasha, Laurent Garnier and Nick Warren.

Helping out with production mate Steve Ward’s Chameleon Records label is another outlet his creativity and has seen the label become a solid brand delivering forward thinking techno, electronica and house. Jamie spent a lot of 2014 travelling throughout Europe collaborating in studios and playing shows in Cologne, Amsterdam and Tel Aviv. With an upcoming EP released on microCastle with a massive remix by Guy J plus a large remix completed for Guy J’s Lost & Found label, it’s safe to say that Jamie is just getting warmed up.
