In today’s age it’s never been easier to get access to music production software. What sets the professionals apart form the bedroom producers is the discipline and raw talent to go all the way: Jungle Jim has an abundance of riches in both of those departments.

In 2009 Jungle Jim found his way around the studio and quickly locked in his own unique sound which was heavily influenced by the then emerging Melbourne Bounce sound. Forward to the present and Jim is no stranger to charts having reached the Beatport Top 100 multiple times (most notably his track ‘Black Wolf’ seemed to be punching all the right buttons). Now Jim can call artists such as TJR, Will Sparks, Chocolate Puma Hook n Sling and Bass Kleph fans of his work, and he has released on popular labels like OneLove, Vicious, Preston and Twisted Plastic record labels.

But it’s not just the studio where Jim excels. The penny really dropped for Melbourne once Jungle Jim found himself DJ-ing, and word started to spread about the ensuing dancefloor chaos created with each passing Jungle Jim set. Eventually Loud Entertainment caught wind of this new emerging talent and signed him to their talent roster. His DJ-ing schedule went to the next level and he quickly found himself playing interstate regularly, and also performing alongside huge names on Australia’s biggest festivals including Future Music and Stereosonic. To cap it all off, Jim was invited to his first international tour in 2014 which took him all the way to Asia for a series of club shows.

There is no doubt that the future is looking bright for Jungle Jim. His profile is increasing daily and he is collecting social media followers at a rapid pace (over 50K Soundcloud followers and 10K FB likes is indicative of a major talent on the way up). Recently the prospect signed to That Sound Agency too, a move that is set to catapult the Melbourne-based producer to the next level. With his copious amounts of enthusiasm and talent, Jungle Jim is here to stay. And one listen to a Jungle Jim set or production should be enough to convert anyone.
