Melbourne-based electronic artist Jordz returns with her new single ‘Little Thing’, an immersive, euphoric dance track built on sensation, tension, and movement. To celebrate the release Jordz has put together a special mix for Kiss FM.
“Little Thing is about the spark of love that gets in your head when you start to fall for someone,” Jordz explains. “That feeling runs deep in your soul and your bones, with thoughts of that person spinning around and around in your head. I wanted the track to feel energetic, catchy, and deep, something that makes people feel lifted by the beats and charged to go through life with that spark inside of them.”
Balancing tension with momentum and emotion with movement, ‘Little Thing’ unfolds as an expansive, atmospheric soundscape. Co-produced by Alice Ivy, the masterfully rhythmic and detailed production builds around a pulsing bassline that travels through the body as much as the mind. Jordz’s vocals are delicately woven into the instrumentation, carrying emotion through both her tone and lyrics to create a hypnotic blend of melancholy and euphoria. The result is a soulfully energising track, an immersive and spacious song designed to reveal its emotional release as it progresses.
