Ahead of his appearance at Piknic Electronik this coming Sunday 3rd February – Jeremy catches up with Timmy prior to his 6pm Friday Guest mix on Kiss FM.

Since Jeremy first release on his label Vivrant in December of 2015, the imprint has seen nine out of its fourteen EPs make #1 on Beatport. Parallel to the label’s growth, the founder has seen his own profile ascend closer and closer to the top of the melodic house and techno game. When it rains it pours, they say, and the birth of Vivrant has allowed for incredible artistic growth. It brought Jeremy a career-first residency at esteemed LA nightclub Sound, opened the door to host multiple sold out label showcases across the globe, an invitation to Ultra’s Resistance night at Privilege alongside Sasha & Digweed, Art Department and Dubfire and key festival plays, such as Baum Park in Colombia, Big Burn in Turkey, Labyrinth Open in Croatia, Pleinvrees in Holland and Extrema Outdoor in Belgium.  The label’s had an unusually rapid chart ascent with remixes and original work from, other than Olander himself, Henry Saiz, Tim Engelhardt, Finnebassen, Khen, Marino Canal, André Hommen, Ejeca and seen repeated support from dance music’s crème de la crème like Sasha, Pete Tong, Joris Voorn, Kölsch and John Digweed. With an ever-growing demand from other esteemed outlets, Jeremy’s had several chart-topping dispatches on some of the most coveted labels on the scene throughout his almost decade long career. Examples range from Eric Prydz’s Pryda, who he also recorded a BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix with that was shortlisted as one of the best of the year, Spanish power-house Suara, microCastle, major Atlantic Records, UK behemoth Anjunadeep and John Digweed’s Bedrock, where he released the ‘Last Dance’ EP together with Knee Deep In Sound’s Cristoph. The EP went straight to #1 on Beatport and was one of Bedrock’s best-selling releases of 2017. His Suara track ‘Panorama’, part of the ‘Talespin’ EP, recently clocked in an impressive 365 straight days on the Beatport Top 100 Progressive chart and has blown passed 1.3 million streams on Spotify. His remix for Sailor & I has surpassed 1.5 million streams on Spotify, topped Beatport and became the best performing remix in the pack despite heavy competition. 2018 had Olander’s touring schedule filled to the brim with notable shows at marquee clubs and festivals around the globe, including Sydney’s Electric Gardens, Montreal’s Stereo, London’s Steelyard, Labyrinth Open in Croatia, Woobar in Bali, Vivrant showcases at 1,100 capacity venues Jet in Buenos Aires and Kraken in Stockholm, a Berlin debut at Chalet as well as a slew of sold out Vivrant at Sea boat parties in Toronto, New York and Boston.BIOGRAPHY

Musical release highlights included the anticipated ‘Karusell’ EP on Vivrant, which went to #1 on the Melodic House & Techno chart and #2 overall on Beatport. It was it followed up ‘Zanzibar’ (Sthlm Edit), also on Vivrant. The dreamy summer record saw support from Edu Imbernon, Yotto, Cristoph, Guy Mantzur, Sasha, Lane 8, Sébastien Léger and featured vocals by up-and-coming Australian artist Kamaliza.BIOGRAPHYFresh off another Beatport chart topping outing, this time on British dance music icon Sasha’s Last Night On Earth, home to La Fleur, Henry Saiz and Joel Mull, Jeremy’s finished the year off with a tour across three continents that included a debut at London’s infamous Printworks, a first-ever Cercle play  in the Nordics) that has racked close to 1 million views, as well as a third sold out Stockholm play in less than a year alongside with Diynamic’s Karmon, Maeve’s Baikal and new Vivrant signee MOLØ.
