Ivan Gomez has been part of the Releaf team since 2019, working across marketing and media creation. Working closely with Releaf – and seeing the benefits and positive effects of integrative medicine and medicinal cannabis with his own eyes – led Ivan to open his own franchise, Releaf Armadale, in 2021. Releaf Armadale provides an elevated healthcare service combining premium medical care in the CBD space with the relaxation and individualised care of a day spa. Ivan sees a huge potential in this space moving forward, as the stigma against medicinal cannabis continues to lessen and people move away from opiates and other traditional medicines with harmful side effects. 

With a career spanning over twenty-five years, Ivan Gomez has developed creative and strategy across a range of industries, starting in the fashion industry with Invasion Clothing in 1994, before moving to Vicious Threads in 2001 and founding creative agency, Department of the Future in 2008. Specialising in brand modelling across strategy and creative, Ivan has worked with dozens of household names, such as Cricket Australia, Mastercard, Jimmy Barnes, City of Melbourne, Commonwealth Bank, Shane Warne, Oprah Winfrey, Microsoft, HTC and Telstra. He earned his PhD in Lateral Thinking across Business and Creative Media Applications in 2019.
