Perth techno DJ, Isaac Lehmann, a.k.a. IL caught the electronic music bug in 1994. At 16 after becoming friends with ex-pat Europeans, they inadvertently opened his eyes (and ears) to the world of raves.

This soon led to amassing a huge mix tape collection from the likes of Helter Skelter, Dreamscape and Thunderdome to name just a few and naturally he couldn’t stay away from the dance floor from that day forward. It wasn’t long after that he developed a thirst for vinyl crate digging and learning how to beat match and mix on turntables.

With an open mind, he has spent the past 25 years soaking up and appreciating a multitude of genres and styles ranging from gabba, house, trance, breaks, drum and bass and of course techno. Artists like Oliver Lieb, DJ Misjah, Carl Cox, Mauro Picotto, The Prodigy and Dave Clarke are just some that have influenced his taste in dance music.

Recent influences such as KUSP (UK), PWCCA, Sopik, Broken Robot and Alberto Ruiz, pushes IL to focus on his true love – edgy, gritty, harder transcendent forms of techno. His sets are organized to take you on a complete journey- body, mind and soul.
