Originally hailing from the UK, Loophole Recordings co-owner Jimmy Le Mac is a Melbourne based producer specialising in a unique blend of house, techno and breaks with a strong focus on basslines.

Le Mac has already made a name for himself with such releases as ‘Down 4 The Ride’ on Micropope, and most recently the acclaimed ‘Wiggle EP’ on the Stanton Warriors label ‘Punks Music’, which DJ Mag referred to as “absolutely essential” in their seven star review. Jimmy has also release numerous singles on his own imprint ‘Loophole Recordings’ and continues to grow the label into Melbourne’s number one underground House & Techno label.

Coming from a background of bass fuelled beats straight out of the UK underground, you can hear echoes of drum & bass heavyweight Dillinja in those Le Mac basslines, the searing breaks of the Stanton Warriors as well as a touch of Justin Martin’s eclecticism across his productions.
